Contributors
If, having looked at our site, you think your pictures would be at home on Shorelark, then please do contact us about becoming a Shorelark Contributor. We are looking for new photographers who share our vision and our commitment to quality.
Steps to becoming a contributor:
1. Read our Image Submission Quality Guidelines, found at the bottom of this page, to check that your pictures meet our basic technical requirements.
2. Send us 10 of your images, so that we can understand the sort of pictures you take and can quickly tell you whether these are the type of images that Shorelark customers might be interested in. Please send these pictures as JPEG files by e-mail to contributors@shorelark.co.uk or post us either JPEGs saved on a CD or A4 prints to Shorelark Limited, The Forum, 277 London Road, Burgess Hill, WestSussex, RH15 9QU. Please keep each JPEG file under 1MB in size. Please make sure that you put your name, contact address and e-mail address clearly on your CD or on the back of any prints. We are afraid that we are not able to return any CDs or prints.
3. If we think you have images that can sell on Shorelark, we will let you know and send you a copy of our Contributor Agreement to read carefully and sign. This agreement sets out the terms under which we will act as your agent and your obligations as a contributor. Once you have signed and returned the agreement, we will ask you to submit your pictures on CD or DVD for evaluation by Shorelark. We will also send you a simple MS Excel spreadsheet to complete with some information to accompany the photographs and we will ask you to send us copies of any press passes, model releases or property releases which accompany the pictures.
Picture needs:We are interested in a wide variety of pictures, spanning many subject areas and artistic styles, which meet our quality thresholds. If, at any time, you are interested in getting details of particular shots our clients are looking for - then e-mail contributors@shorelark.co.uk
